Nestled in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, Cuddington, BFDN offers children, aged between 3 months and 5 years and their families, a very special and unique setting. Located on a real life working farm, amongst the animals and the abundance of wildlife, our nursery offers what we believe to be the very best start to a child's educational journey. We have been family owned since opening in 2007 and pride ourselves on offering a safe and secure surrounding where children can be happy and confident. With outstanding, highly trained staff, four dedicated rooms, a library, a cosy lounge and an abundance of out door space to explore daily, we have created a unique and warm atmosphere where our children can learn and grow independently. Our mission is to provide a warm and secure 'home away from home' setting, allowing children to develop into confident, school ready individuals.
Here at BFDN we follow the EYFS standard of learning and use Famly, an online learning journal, to record photos, observations and track the development of our children. This innovative system allows our practitioners to work more closely with parents, whilst sharing special nursery moments and experiences. For more information please see our Learning page.
BFDN is in easy reach for Northwich, Winsford, Chester, Tarporley, Kelsall, Frodsham, Helsby and surrounding areas. Also, just a short distance from the M56, M6 and M53.
Life on the Farm
Being in the heart of the countryside offers lots of exciting opportunities for children to explore, engage and learn in a farm environment. Children actively help out on the farm by feeding the chickens and the ducks, collecting hay for the horses and our nursery donkeys Dennis and Douglas, and also giving our pigs lots of tasting treats! Not forgetting our furry lovable pet rabbit, known as 'Peter Rabbit', for whom the children often prepare fresh bedding, water and meals for.
